It’s #NationalApprenticeshipWeek and the perfect chance to introduce our lovely apprentices: India Godwin and Sam Cottrell!
An apprenticeship combines professional training with on-the-job learning. You study for a recognised qualification and earn a wage, while gaining experience with an employer at the same time!

India, our Customer Services Apprentice, has been working in various departments at inTec Business Solutions for around a year now including marketing, sales and customer relations. India’s main motivation for joining an apprenticeship scheme was to fully experience all aspects of the business world, from day-to-day office life to attending sales pitches and networking events.
Here’s what she had to say about her journey so far...
“I started my apprenticeship journey with inTec Business Solutions back in February 2019 and have enjoyed everything about it, from email campaigns to networking. In my opinion an apprenticeship is the best thing to do if you enjoy learning on the job which is why I enjoy it so much. Working on the phones has now given me the courage to expand on my role and move into a sales-based role. I am extremely grateful for inTec supporting me throughout my apprenticeship journey.”

Sam, our digital marketing apprentice, joined us in December 2019 but has been working with one of the inTec partner companies, CFM Hub, since October 2018. He has also jumped with both feet into a wider sales and marketing role to form our outbound calls team alongside India.
He had this to say about his apprenticeship experience…
“I started my apprenticeship journey with CFM back in October 2018 and have pretty much loved every minute, from running online paid campaigns to researching and writing blogs on technology. Learning on the job is definitely for me and working within a digital marketing role at first gave me the courage to expand into a wider marketing and sales based role. I like doing things like attending networking events and speaking with potential customers and this has 100% grown my confidence in other real world situations. I am grateful for the opportunity I now have with inTec after CFM joined the inTec Business Solutions group and I look forward to the next few months going forward here!”
Apprenticeships have provided the inTec Business Solutions group with a great opportunity to employ ambitious and determined young people and help them start their dream careers while learning and growing on the job. We look forward to seeing what the future brings for India, Sam and any new apprentices moving forward!
