Cheshire Business Services celebrates 30 years of success!

1990 was the year of Gazza’s tears, Home Alone was entertaining cinema goers, Sinéad O'Connor ruled the charts with her hit Nothing Compares 2U and we were introduced to the World Wide Web! Seems like only yesterday doesn’t it?

It was also the year Cheshire Business Services was established. Champagne corks will be popping this month as the Stockport-based telecoms and technology experts celebrate 30 highly successful years in business!

A lot has changed in telecommunications since the early nineties. Just think how much we take for granted using our phones today whether we’re video-calling home from a holiday in Spain or ordering our grocery shop whilst sitting on the bus! Not to mention how mobile phones themselves have changed over the years!

Cheshire Business Services has evolved a great deal too. Since joining the inTec Business Solutions group last year, they’re so much more than just a telecoms company. They pride themselves in offering the very best unified communications and business technology solutions to help all businesses grow.

Based on Buxton Road in Stockport, they now focus on blending the latest telecoms, IT and digital technology to deliver tailored solutions that fit seamlessly into all modern businesses. They work with businesses of all sizes and in all sectors offering #WorkSmarter products and services including job management systems, bespoke CRM solutions, Office 365 training, superfast broadband, mobile device management, I.T. support; and digital transformation programmes.

They offer all of our customers a completely free, no-obligation business and technology review which is ideal for uncovering ‘quick wins’ and a longer-term technology strategy to help futureproof any business. If you’d be interested in booking a review with their team of experts, please see here.

As part of their 30-year anniversary celebrations, during the week of 16th to 20th March, the company will be thanking their loyal and supportive clients with some special treats! Reflecting on the excellent service provided by Cheshire Business Services over the year, Rob Hilton - Head of IT Infrastructure Europe at Kerry Logistics (a long-standing client) said:

“Chris and his team are extremely professional and supportive, providing us with great customer service. Congratulations on achieving 30 years in business.”

Managing Director and founder of Cheshire Business Services, Chris Jones commented on the company’s milestone anniversary:

“30 years has unbelievably flown by. In the early years, mobile phones were not as mobile as they are today… we installed phones into cars, or they had batteries the size of small generators; getting a signal was never easy! It has been a great journey so far. I have seen some excellent innovative products and solutions and I thoroughly enjoy supporting our clients - which I hope to continue doing for many years to come!”

This anniversary month, Cheshire Business Services are also continuing their on-going support of local charities and grassroots sports clubs by sponsoring the Girls and Women's teams at the Stockport Georgians Cricket Club! They are very excited to supply their branded shirts for this forthcoming season.

SGCC are a thriving cricket club at the heart of their local community with 4 men's teams, 2 women's teams and 10 junior boys’ and girls’ teams. The women's and girls’ section is a recent success story and has over 60 players playing various formats of the game from competitive hard ball league games to social softball festivals.

Alongside their own branding, Cheshire Business Services will also include one of their loyal client’s logo on the cricket kits; Hazel Grove-based charity Independent Options. Since 1977 they have been working to empower people with disabilities, enabling them to take control of their lives, achieve their aspirations and enjoy life to the full. Cheshire Business Services are very proud to support this incredibly worthwhile cause.

In addition, Cheshire Business Services will feature local mental health charity Stockport Mind on the cricket kit. The charity does incredible work to offer friendly, accessible support and information to adults in mental distress and work with others to promote wellbeing in the local community.

If any other local businesses would like to get involved, the cricket club offer a number of sponsorship opportunities to suit all budgets ranging from match day ball sponsors to team kits and venue hire. More information on the club and other opportunities can be found here.

We anticipate seeing even greater things from Cheshire Business Services in the future and will watch its development with interest. Here’s to the next 30 years!
